It wasn't like Nailz had "main eventer" written all over him, but he definitely squelched any hopes of working for the WWF long-term when he attacked Vince McMahon in his office, allegedly over a financial dispute.

After 15 minutes of screaming, Bret Hart claims he heard a loud crash, which was revealed to be Nailz knocking Vince over in his chair and choking him. Considering Vince wanted to fire Titus O'Neil over the whole arm-grabbing fiasco, it's not surprising that Nailz was released from his contract.

This led to multiple lawsuits between him and the WWF, including allegations that Vince McMahon told Nailz to take steroids. But given that his testimony led off with the fact that he outright hated McMahon, most jurors ignored it.

Between choking Vince McMahon in his office, suing the company, and testifying against his former boss, Nailz did a pretty thorough job of ensuring he'd never work for the WWF ever again.
