8 WWE Superstars Whose Careers Ended The Worst Way Possible

3. Droz

Poor Darren Drozdov. This guy would have gone so much further in sports entertainment if Vince McMahon hadn't latched so hard onto the fact Drozdov could make himself vomit on command.

Known for far too long as "Puke," Drozdov was taken under the wings of Legion of Doom (formerly The Road Warriors), one of the greatest tag teams of all time. Under their tutelage, Drosdov became a respectable performer in the ring and slowly became a crowd favorite.

After a weird storyline that incorporated the all-too-real element of L.O.D. member Hawk's alcoholism, Drozdov (now known simply as "Droz") turned heel and came into his own with a new persona that, as with all of the best characters, heightened his true personality. But just as Droz was getting some momentum, a match with D-Lo Brown swiftly ended his career before it could fully take off.

Due to some combination of loose clothing and poor execution, D-Lo awkwardly powerbombed Droz directly onto his head, which caused him to fracture two disks in his neck and left him capable of very little movement below the neck.

Though he's since regained some movement, Droz technically remains a quadriplegic and will likely never step into the ring again.
