9 Things We Need To See At WWE Clash Of Champions 2017

8. The Usos Vs. Chad Gable And Shelton Benjamin

Back on Oct 10, Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin won a Fatal Four Way tag team bout to establish themselves as the number one contenders for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

They’d have to wait for their title shot, though. Their showdown with the Usos didn't arrive until the Nov 7 SmackDown show in Manchester, England, and although the challengers did manage to win that day, the result came via count-out.

That means that Gable and Benjamin are still very much due another go at the Usos, and given the theme of the December PPV, booking that match at Clash of Champions pretty much writes itself.

There’s also an added subtext to this one in the form of a possible double turn. Gable, in particular, has been looking a little more heelish as of late, while the Usos have been so good as bad guys recently that audiences are gradually beginning to get behind them.

In terms of a desirable winner, you could easily make a case for either team, though the feud could have plenty of legs in it yet.
