2. Shane & Miz Hog More Airtime

The Miz and Shane McMahon's custody battle over the WWE World Cup trophy continued last night, with 'The A-Lister' once again engineering a tag match against jobbers Jimmy Ping and Tony Bone (alternatively: The Vegas Boys). It was every bit as meh as you'd expect.

First, they bickered in the ring. Then, they wrestled a sh*tty two-minute jobber match, emerging victorious this time. McMahon put one of the goobers away with a terrible submission. It was horrendous. Finally, we got a backstage shouting session, with McMahon eventually spurning Miz's advances and snatching the World Cup away, ensuring the charade continues for another week.

Miz paying the jobbers off, forging a contract, and conning the referee was a nice, heelish touch. Other than that, your writer has just about had enough of this storyline (if you hadn't already guessed). Here's hoping it develops into something more compelling over the coming weeks. The performers definitely have it in them, and Miz is doing all he can to make it work, but the material is lacking.
