9 Ways To Introduce Shinsuke Nakamura To WWE Roster

8. Swerve Triple H & Have Him Turn On Him

You could bring Nakamura in under the exact same scenario mentioned in the previous entry, but rather than have Shinsuke stick around as a member of the villainous quartet, he could immediately pull a swerve and turn against them.

In much the same manner as DDP - a career midcarder - became an instant main event star by turning down the nWo, Nakamura could appear to be the latest member of the Hunter-led stable, only for him to turn on them and stand as his own man much to the delight of his passionate supporters in the WWE Universe.

The Japanese superstar will likely experience his best success as a face, and this allows him to bypass all the usual build-up by instantly inserting him into the main event scene. It gives him three separate rivals to work against, only one of whom he's had a recent in-ring history with.

Nakamura could appear to be on board with Hunter's goons, only to turn on them and align himself with the likes of Chris Jericho and Seth Rollins, creating a litany of potential match-ups and placing Nakamura in his more natural role of the good guy.

This introduces him as a big deal - debuting and immediately turning on Triple H is making news - and hopefully gives him some momentum with an audience comprised primarily of casual fans rather than NXT hardcores.
