Is it time to start talking about AEW as WWE's biggest threat? You can bet your bottom dollar that that will be the biggest talking point as the company continues to put on its first PPVs and then we get the transition into weekly TV, but it's not even a necessary conversation.
Sure, the two companies might play up to a rivalry, but all of this is good for business, no matter how you shake it. It gives premium stars another platform to ply their trade without having to "compete" for higher billing and it gives WWE the shot in the arm fans have long said Vince McMahon's company might need.
Regardless of how it plays out in the long term, we can all admire how incredibly well the first Double Or Nothing PPV went off.
