It looks like All Elite Wrestling will be resetting their much-hyped win/loss records in January 2020.

The Young Bucks' Matt Jackson (an AEW Executive Vice President) seemingly confirmed this on Twitter last night, responding a fan who'd asked how the promotion planned on booking around any problems created by the system:-

He then mentioned January in a separate thread:-

That second tweet suggests that this will become a yearly occurrence, though the first reboot comes after just three months of television.

AEW stressing the importance of wins and losses and their implementation of this ranking system has sparked much discussion in 2019. We've already seen situations where the likes of Emi Sakura have received top title shots despite middling in-ring records, though this was always likely to happen before AEW's wrestlers had built substantial bodies of work, and it'll be interesting to see how this changes as the numbers become more substantial.

AEW released their first official set of divisional rankings last week, prior to the Full Gear pay-per-view. Complete, updated win/loss records can currently be found on their website's roster page, though the overall totals don't always align. CIMA, for example, is currently listed as 1-2 in singles, 0-0 in tags, and 1-1 in trios, but somehow 2-5 overall.
