AJ Styles has responded to claims he has came to terms on a new WWE deal with a firm social media denial.

WrestlingNewsWorld last night reported that the two-time WWE champ had penned a new contract for the company, one which would "set himself and his family up financially for the rest of his life", as well as provide opportunities outside the ring.

Contract talks couldn't have came at a better time for Styles. As one of the finest talents in the industry - and one with considerable inherent prestige - AJ's bargaining power is enormous, as he can leverage the competition between WWE and flush new competitor AEW over his signature for a plum deal.

At present, we still have no real inclination as to where he'll end up. Guess one clue is who he does and does not chastise on Twitter.
