AJ Styles Still Hasn't Signed WWE Deal

As of this morning, the deal isn't done.

AJ Styles still hasn't signed his WWE deal. Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that as of this morning, Styles hadn't put pen to paper. However, Meltzer concluded that Styles was going to be coming in. "I can tell you factually as of this morning that AJ Styles still hasn't signed, but they're all coming in," he said. Styles isn't under contract to anyone else and could of signed the deal straight away. There's no word on what the delay is, but Meltzer sounded assured that the talented thirty eight year old would be starring for WWE soon. Styles is a wrestler who has appeared on Observer Radio in the past, and Meltzer is likely to know his current situation. The hold up could just be like what happened with Sting a few years ago, where the WCW Icon didn't put pen to paper straight away, but both he and WWE were agreed on everything. Clearly, with WWE running stories on their website about Styles, things are solidly confirmed enough that WWE are willing to start a narrative. Earlier in the week, Meltzer said that there may be "surprises" at the Royal Rumble, in relation to the Styles signing with WWE story. That still looks to be the plan, so expect the deal to be signed officially in the near future.
