WWE’s Evolution card could be set to change again this week, with reports emerging that Alexa Bliss might not be cleared to compete. Following a clash with Ronda Rousey at a WWE Live event in Hartford Connecticut this weekend, reports emerged that the former Raw Women’s Champion had suffered a concussion.

However these went unconfirmed by WWE who continued to advertise her for this weekend’s all-women PPV. However following the introduction of Alicia Fox to the match angle, rumours have continued to circulate that Bliss will have to be replaced in the tag-team match against Trish Stratus and Lita.

Dave Meltzer, speaking on Wrestling Observer reported that WWE were monitoring the Bliss situation; “Alexa Bliss, I believe she suffered a concussion on Saturday night at Hartford. She was not on the TV tonight”.

"She was still advertised for Sunday for the women’s Evolution show and they were hoping she would be ready but a concussion is a concussion. There’s no way of predicting when she’ll be passing Impact testing.”

“So if you watched television I think it’s pretty clear that Alicia Fox will be replacing her if she can’t go. But they’re still advertising her.”

The match was originally scheduled to be a singles contest between Bliss and Trish Stratus, but Mickie James and Lita were added to each wrestlers team respectively. Another last minute change to the match would not be popular with fans, but WWE will be keen to put the health of Bliss ahead of those concerns.
