Alexa Bliss walked into WWE Money In The Bank 2018 as one of eight competitors in the crowded women's ladder match, and left with the Raw Women's Championship on her shoulder.

In an exciting turn of events, 'The Goddess' first triumphed in the titular briefcase scramble, cutting off Becky Lynch when the long-suffering babyface was mere inches from glory.

Then, Alexa made her presence felt in the Nia Jax vs. Ronda Rousey match. Her assault prompted the disqualification, and she cashed in the briefcase immediately after, blasting the weakened 'Irresistible Force' with a DDT and her Twisted Bliss finisher to retake the gold in just 35 seconds.

Nia's reign ended at 70 days and two successful defences (including the Rousey clash), having bested Bliss for the belt at WrestleMania 34. Alexa, meanwhile, is now a three-time champion. Her combined 336 days as champion is a record, and while hot-shotting is always a possibility, she should now put second-place Charlotte Flair (246 days) even further in the rear-view.

Where WWE will head next remains to be seen, but as the predicted Natalya interference/turn didn't come, a three-way Rousey/Jax/Bliss title feud is entirely possible. We'll find out more on Raw tonight.
