Alexa Bliss became the new WWE Raw Women's Champion by defeating Sasha Banks in the main event of last night's show in Memphis, Tennessee.

The duo were facing off just eight days after their match at SummerSlam, in which Banks defeated Bliss to become a four-time champion. It was another spirited bout between the two, with both women trading close near-falls before Alexa survived Sasha's late comeback to win the match with a DDT.

The title change continues the theme of Banks winning the belt, only to drop it a short while later. She might be a four-time champion, but none of her runs have lasted longer than a month, and this was her shortest yet at just eight days.

Bliss is now a two-time Raw Women's Champion, having first won the belt from Bayley at Payback, and it looks like Nia Jax will be her first challenger. Jax came out after the match, and initially looked to congratulate the new champ, but quickly turned by dropping Alexa on the canvas, then posing with the belt afterwards.

Here are some photos and videos from the match, including Jax's attack:-
