All 6 WWE Hell In A Cell PPV Main Events - Ranked From Worst To Best

Just pretend some of these matches didn't happen.

WWE Hell in a Cell is one week away and we have blockbuster matchup in the main event to look forward too. The Undertaker battles Brock Lesnar in a Hell in a Cell match, capping off their recent series that began with the conquering of The Streak at WrestleMania 30. Undertaker made a surprising non-WrestleMania season return to WWE to challenge Lesnar to a match at SummerSlam. It turned out to be a great bout with a controversial ending. Considering their third encounter was at one point rumored to take place at next year's WrestleMania, this is a highly anticipated matchup. Time will tell how this upcoming encounter between these two legends stacks up against the previous Hell in a Cell main events. In the meantime, the 6 matches that have closed out this event since its beginning in 2009 are here to recap and rank...

6. Kane vs. The Undertaker (2010)

In the build up to this match, World Heavyweight Champion Kane was positioned as the more dominant of the two brothers. The Undertaker needed something dramatic to turn the momentum to his side and he got exactly that with the return of Paul Bearer. It might be cheesy storytelling but it's still pretty amusing to go back and watch Bearer emerge from a casket on a SmackDown to the horror of Kane. Dallas was extremely quiet as they witnessed Kane repeatedly target Undertaker's leg. There were a few moments where these two traded punches that engaged the crowd, but most of this match was just boring and slow. After Kane struck the referee, the Cell door was opened, giving Paul Bearer a chance to enter the structure. He had a strange role in the final moments of this match as he turned on The Undertaker and emitted a not-so-blinding light out of the urn he was carrying. Kane finished his brother off by striking him with the urn and hitting a couple of chokeslams. There was definitely a story of betrayal that unfolded here, but it wasn't told effectively. The World Heavyweight Championship stayed with Kane as the worst main event in Hell in a Cell history closed out.
