Arnold Schwarzenegger In WWE Hall Of Fame 2015

One of the world's most famous actors to be inducted this year.

It was announced on Monday that WWE will induct actor and the former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger for their Hall of Fame on Saturday March 24 at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. The previous name announced for the Hall of Fame is "Macho Man" Randy Savage. It was first reported by TMZ and shortly after confirmed by WWE.com as well. Does he really deserve it? He's only been on WWE TV a few times, so he really doesn't deserve it based on that. However, WWE has inducted multiple celebrities in the past that have barely appeared on their shows. In the last five years the celebrity Hall of Famers have been Bob Uecker, Drew Carey, Mike Tyson, Donald Trump and Mr. T's memorable speech last year thanking his mother endlessly. Schwarzenegger, who is 67 years old, appeared at the 2013 Hall of Fame when he inducted his good friend Bruno Sammartino. It's no surprise that WWE would call on Arnold for the 2015 Hall of Fame because it's taking place in the state of California where he was the former Governor of the state. The most famous WWE appearance by Arnold was on the November 11, 1999 edition of Smackdown. Vince McMahon presented him with a replica version of the WWE Title and announced that he was the "World Box Office Champion." It was a made up thing that was just done to get him and WWE some media attention. Later in that show, he handed Steve Austin a chair and he nailed top heel Triple H with it. That led to the memorable moment where Arnold attacked Triple H with some punches. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3QF3plgsjo Arnold was also on Raw on March 24, 2014 with Hulk Hogan and Joe Manganiello. He was there to promote a new movie called Sabotage. Did anybody see it? We're not sure. Anyway, they were confronted by WWE's Hollywood star The Miz and Arnold joined in on the beatdown with a back fist to the face of The Miz. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KetT9XdG5uI There's no word on who will induct Arnold. It could be Triple H, who has worked with him on various projects over the years and has talked about how Arnold is one of his heroes. They could go for a celebrity to do it like Sylvester Stallone. Congrats to Arnold Schwarzenegger on the WWE Hall of Fame induction. More names will be announced for the Hall of Fame in the coming weeks and months.
