Stop us if you think that you've heard this one before, but last night's episode of WWE Raw was the subject of multiple changes throughout show day.

PWInsider's Mike Johnson reports that WWE were altering the script across Monday. While the advertised matches (including The Bloodline vs. The New Day bout used to sell it) remained intact, Raw's order and flow were altered, with Vince McMahon and co. tinkering with the lineup hours before hitting the airwaves.

A finalised script wasn't delivered until around 6 PM ET, two hours before Raw began. Order-wise, everything was up in the air until then.

Johnson notes that NXT's Austin Theory was backstage at the show, as has been the case several times over the past few months. WWE also taped a Cedric Alexander defeat of Lince Dorado and Karrion Kross beating Ricochet for Main Event.

Stories of backstage tumult on show day are nothing new for WWE. This is particularly true of Raw, with one of these reports coming out in the wake of many a Monday night broadcast at the moment. The show was broadly well-received by fans and critics, however, with the Big E vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Roman Reigns main event drawing particular plaudits.
