WWE have posted a backstage video showng the McMahon family reacting to Triple H's WWE Title Royal Rumble win. Part work, part shoot, it gives a fascinating insight to the backstage scene before and after Hunter's Rumble entry. To start with, Hunter is watching the Rumble with Stephanie McMahon. He then does a work out in their private dressing room, before heading to the gorilla position. The look of pride on Stephanie's face at that point is undoubtedly a shoot. This was a very real moment for the Levesque family. Following his arrival back to gorilla with the WWE Championship, Hunter then poses for photos with Vince McMahon and Stephanie. Again, there's little doubt that the smiles are genuine in this moment. Hunter's hasn't worked a match since last March, yet he's suddenly the WWE Champion and heading into the show closing main event of the biggest WrestleMania in history. With the crowd expected to break WWE's attendance record, he's going to make a lot of money. Some will inevitably feel like he hasn't earned that spot. Nevertheless, his character has arguably been WWE's greatest heel this past year, and his Rumble performance was encouraging. He could have a very good match with Roman Reigns in the Mania event. On the other hand, the smark Mania crowd could end up killing it.
