Billy Gunn Is All In

While WWE fans are saying "Fire Road Dogg", All In are saying "Hire Bad Ass".

'Bad Ass' Billy Gunn has officially been added to the Over Budget Battle Royal at the All In pre-show on 1 September. At the age of 54, Gunn has set the bar as the oldest wrestler announced for the card.

The Over Budget Battle Royal will air live during the 2-hour All In Zero-Hour pre-show on WGN America. The winner of the 15-person over-the-top contest will go on to challenge Jay Lethal for the Ring of Honor World Championship on the main card later that night.

So far, only 8 of the 15 competitors in the Over Budget bout have been confirmed. Joining Gunn will be Jimmy Jacobs, Colt Cabana, Moose, Brian Cage, Ethan Page, Rocky Romero, and— on the opposite end of the age spectrum— 22-year-old Jordynne Grace.

While it may seem that this New Age Outlaw has an old age disadvantage in a very youthful lineup, Gunn has the upper hand experience as a former WWF Tag Team, Intercontinental and Hardcore Champion. In addition to winning the WWF King of the Ring in 1999, Gunn has also been in his fair share of Royal Rumble matches and is no stranger to the game of over-the-top elimination. In impressive physical condition, and with programs in New Japan Pro Wrestling as recent as 2017, Billy Gunn isn't just a familiar face booked for the purpose of nostalgia.

The remaining 7 competitors in the Over Budget Battle Royal are expected to be rolled out via All In's Twitter account over the next two weeks.
