The Ring of Honor/New Japan Pro Wrestling joint U.S. tour, which ended Saturday evening in Manhattan, led to a number of injuries to top-level stars. Among the casualties are both of The Young Bucks, Matt and Nick Jackson.

Nick, who was forced to miss action at Saturday's War of the Worlds event, suffered one or more broken ribs during a match in Toronto. There, The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega - currently the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Champions - successfully defended their titles against former champs Hiroshi Tanahashi, Michael Elgin, and Yoshitatsu.

Nick has been pulled from the upcoming Best of the Super Juniors tournament, a round-robin contest scheduled to kick off on May 21. His replacement will be three-time NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion Chase Owens, who has made sporadic appearances in New Japan since 2014. Owens competed in 2015's Best of the Super Junior's tournament, then joined Bullet Club later in the year.

Matt Jackson is also suffering from an injury, as he broke his hand during an earlier show on the tour. He was still able to compete in Manhattan - he teamed with Adam Cole to take on the teams of Jay Lethal and Roderick Strong and Kazuchika Okada and Tomohiro Ishii - but his future remains uncertain. Early Sunday morning, Matt tweeted, "We've been going hard for a long, long time. Something's gotta give. Nothing but love."

There is no word as to when The Young Bucks will be back in action.
