Bray Wyatt's WWE Return Teased On Raw With A Sock Puppet?

The poor guy can't catch a break...

Amidst all the frolics and frivolities of the post-WrestleMania episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE aired a truly bizarre vignette which depicted a schlocky bird puppet in a Scout's necker popping its little head out of a box and rattling off a hacking laugh, before ending on a 'scary' jump cut to its face.

No, that's not the delirium of a weekend of non-stop wrestling and no-sleep talking: this actually happened.

There was no follow-up to the weird video, but when it comes to creepy sh*t in WWE, one man has a monopoly.

Bray Wyatt.

Wyatt, who is currently on sabbatical as he welcomes he and partner JoJo Offerman's son into the world, has been slated for an imminent return post WrestleMania 35, and this vignette, though far from confirmed, seems to point in that direction.

Lord help the poor guy if this is how he makes his big comeback. The Wyatt character has became desperately moribund as a direct result of frankly crap skits of this ilk, and he was probably hoping - praying - for a complete character rebrand.

Instead, he's seemingly got an avian incarnation of TV sock puppet Lambchop to herald his return. Job's a bad 'un.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
