Bret Hart's Cancer Surgery A Success

Wrestling legend recovering from procedure for prostate cancer.

Tuesday evening, seven-time world champion and WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart took to Instagram to let his fans know that his surgery for prostate cancer was a success: https://www.instagram.com/p/BBqnG9DsQt0/ Hart, who has worked hard in recent years to raise awareness of men's health issues, took to Facebook last Tuesday to announce that he had been diagnosed with the disease and would need surgery, but was determined to fight bravely. He revealed more details to fans on Ring Rust Radio, stating that he hoped "to be on the better side of it in six months or so." The wrestling world moved to offer Hart their support, with Vince McMahon, Triple H, Roman Reigns, and dozens more tweeting messages of support at "The Hitman." New York's Madison Square Garden - a WWE stronghold for decades, and the arena where Bret Hart won the WWE Championship in the main event of WrestleMania X - wished Hart well in a message on the building's video board. To celebrate his amazing wrestling career, WhatCulture.com author Justin Henry last week penned a great column 10 Things You Didn't Know About Bret Hart which comes highly recommended for those familiar or otherwise with the Excellence of Execution.
