Brock Lesnar "Interested In Fighting Again" With The UFC

UFC President Dana White says Brock is keen on MMA return.

UFC President Dana White has stated that Brock Lesnar is healthy and interested in fighting again. The comments came as part of UFC's 'The Time Is Now' media event, which the company was using to announce a mega series of fights to start 2015. "Brock Lesnar's under contract with the WWE. We have a great relationship, he's healthy and he's said he's interested in fighting again so we'll see what happens," White said. This is the strongest indication yet that Brock Lesnar will leave WWE for UFC when his contract expires in April 2015. Dana White was deliberately noting that Brock was under a WWE contract, but interested in fighting for real again. The reference to the "great relationship" they have and the fact that Brock is healthy was White's way of saying he is going after this deal. Brock is a headline name who will add some serious value to UFC's depleted main event scene. In fact, this was perhaps the closest White could get to admitting UFC and Lesnar have talked, without breaching any kind of legal or moral boundary with the WWE. Some fans are even speculating if Brock Lesnar was the original "big announcement" promised for the media event. Ultimately, White ended up not delivering a big announcement, saying €œI hate to disappointment everybody, but we didn€™t get it done in time for this.€ White did however announce the biggest series of fights in UFC history. Next year will feature an explosive first few months, with the following huge fights confirmed - Jan. 3 - UFC 182 €œJones vs. Cormier€ Jan. 18 - UFC Fight Night €œMcGregor vs. Siver€ Jan. 24 - UFC on Fox 14 €œGustafsson vs. Johnson€ Jan. 31 - UFC 183 €œSilva vs. Diaz€ Feb. 28 - UFC 184 €œWeidman vs. Belfort€ and "Rousey vs Zingano" In the space of two months, this is going to be a very exciting time to be a MMA fan. All of these fights are genuine headliners and UFC is really looking to remedy its poor 2014. It will be an exciting start to the year and then hopefully Brock Lesnar signs in the spring for a fight in December 2015.
