Brock Lesnar To Return For WWE SummerSlam And Night Of Champions

Brock Lesnar is set to return to WWE later this summer for a two show run at SummerSlam and Night Of Champions, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. WWE is stacking up the August and September period due to the first batch of Network subscriptions expiring at that time. People might have been tempted to ditch their subscription as the fall period tends to be fairly dull in WWE, one idea for fans might have been to cancel in September and then pick the subscription back up in January for the WrestleMania season. WWE will manage to negate these moves by adding attractions such as Lesnar into the autumn calendar. The first Network subscriptions will expire on the 2nd September, just a couple of weeks after SummerSlam and almost three weeks before the Night Of Champions show. If fans want to complete whatever story Brock is involved in at that time, they're going to have to renew their subscription to see what he does at the 21st of September Night Of Champions. It's a draw which should work for the WWE and they're additionally looking to "load up" the Night Of Champions card in Nashville. In previous years we have seen Lesnar working the post-Mania Extreme Rules show, which he didn't do this year, so we had wondered if he would be making a more substantial run later in the year. By incorporating Brock into a longer two month feud around SummerSlam and Night Of Champions we should enjoy the most compelling Autumn in WWE for a long time. As for who he will work with? A WWE title feud with Daniel Bryan seems the safest bet, maybe Lesnar beats Bryan at SummerSlam only for the face to get his revenge in September. If Cesaro is ready then he could be an option of Heyman guy vs Heyman guy, a bit like CM Punk did last year. Batista and Undertaker are outside bets but both would create interest if available.
