Brock Lesnar Returns To WWE By Destroying Alberto Del Rio And Rusev

Lesnar just smashed The League Of Nations.

Brock Lesnar returned to WWE at Saturday's house show at The Forum in Los Angeles, California. Accompanied by Paul Heyman, he was facing Alberto Del Rio for the US Title. The match started with The Beast hitting three german suplexes, only for Del Rio to recover and attain some control after Lesnar hit the ring post. It only went for a few more minutes after that, before Rusev hit the ring to force a disqualification. That was always the expected outcome, a quick match in which Lesnar could do his thing, with a DQ that allowed Del Rio to retain. Lesnar then got stuck into Rusev, impressively hitting him with a suplex and F5. He then had the same treatment for Del Rio, before exiting the scene. Heyman didn't cut a promo. What was interesting about this match, is that it was two former MMA fighters going at it in a WWE ring. But the narrative never really got going and the match was too short to be considered anything of historical value. Lensar will likely move on to bigger things, potentially as soon as Raw this Monday, which is in his hometown Minneapolis. It is also the Slammys show, but WWE haven't officially said Lesnar will be there. It is possible it is booked as a surprise.
