Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez will wrestle for the WWE Championship at the next Saudi Arabia pay-pay-per-view Crown Jewel, according to The Wrestling Observer.

The former UFC opponents clashed at the end of the maiden edition of Friday Night SmackDown on Fox following Brock's squash victory over former titleholder Kofi Kingston.

Flanked by Rey Mysterio following 'The Beast's destruction derby job on the 'Biggest Little Man' and his son Dominick, 'Cardio Cain' tackled Lesnar to the floor and struck him repeatedly before the new champion bailed to the floor.

Velasquez reportedly hasn't yet signed, but this deal could include further WWE appearances. The former UFC Heavyweight Champion stated his intent to leave the USADA drug testing pool, and has wrestled alongside Cody Rhodes for AAA since his last battle in the Octagon.

Crown Jewel takes place October 31st in Riyadh at the King Fahd International Stadium as part of WWE's continued arrangement with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Prior main events have featured Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker and Goldberg as well as the biggest Royal Rumble in company history. The former WCW Champion was reportedly paid $2million for his Super ShowDown appearance in May, whilst 'HBK' likely earned a similar-or-greater fee to go back on a retirement that had rather impressively stuck for eight years.
