6. Triple H (2012)

This match had a great build up involving Lesnar arrogantly refusing to wrestle and showing general disdain towards WWE. He had also broken both Triple H and Shawn Michael’s arms in the weeks prior, helping it garner excitement and buzz with WWE billing it as The Perfect Storm.

Unfortunately, this felt more like a Triple H match you’ve seen a hundred times before than a Lesnar one, let alone the violent clash it should have been. Though it started promising, it soon became a slow, methodical affair with Lesnar targeting The Game's injured arm. By not really playing to his strengths as a destructive force, the crowd soon fell silent, sucking the energy out of the arena. As a result, The Perfect Storm never lived up to its tumultuous hype.

The feud continued and fans would have to endure two more matches at WrestleMania 29 and Extreme Rules 2013, neither of which bettered this first average encounter.
