Fans at Ring of Honor's Manhattan Mayhem VI show on Saturday evening were treated to a shocking development - The Broken Hardys debuted in the organization, challenged ROH World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks to an impromptu match, and defeated them for the titles.

The Young Bucks had come fresh off a scheduled title defense against Lio Rush and Jay White when the arena went dark and excited fans began chanting "DELETE!" Sure enough, when the lights turned on, Broken Matt and Brother Nero were face to face with the champs, claiming to have arrived in the "Honorable Ring" to test their mettle against "The Bucks of Youth."

They challenged the champions to an immediate match and it got started, with Matt and Nick Jackson putting up an impressive fight despite having just wrestled. The Young Bucks tried to add insult to injury with a Twist of Fate/Swanton Bomb combo on Jeff, but Matt made the save. Soon afterwards, The Hardys used the same combo to end the match in their favor.

Last week, it was announced that The Hardys were leaving TNA and being stripped of that company's tag team championships. Though it was rumored that they'd be heading to WWE soon, Broken Matt claimed in a post-match promo that they had signed with the "Honorable Ring" and not "MeekMahan."

There is no word yet on the status of an originally scheduled match between the teams for April 1's Supercard of Honor.
