Bully Ray Set To Make Official TNA Return At Tapings Tonight

A former TNA World Champion returns. Is a Dudley Boys WWE return now off the table?

Bully Ray is going to return to TNA Impact Wrestling at their tapings tonight according to PWInsider. The former TNA World Champion has been at their Orlando tapings for the past two days working on his comeback. His return will be for a full time run after he made a cameo appearance as a special guest referee for a World Title match between Kurt Angle and Eric Young on May 8. Ray left TNA last October when his contract, as well as the contract of his partner Brother Devon, expired and they felt like trying other things. Earlier this year, he appeared as Bubba Ray Dudley at WWE's Royal Rumble in Philadelphia and received a great reaction even though he left WWE with Devon ten years ago. Since that time, he has been open on Twitter about wanting to go back to WWE. There was a tease of a possible return when the WWE team of Luke Harper and Erick Rowan started using the 3D as a finishing move, but that door closed when Rowan hurt his arm and put him on the shelf for the rest of the year. There apparently wasn't a lot of interest on WWE's side or else Ray might have gone there. Ray will turn 44 years old in a few weeks and was a top guy in TNA, so it makes sense for him to return to work there especially because his girlfriend Velvet Sky recently returned to the company as well.
