Chris Jericho Signs New WWE Contract For Two Month Run

Y2J is back!

Chris Jericho has signed a new WWE contract that will cover dates for the next two months. He made his surprise return at the house show in Montgomery, Alabama this past weekend. Jericho is now advertised for house shows going forward. It will be a regular WWE house tour schedule until early March, when he's then due to go back on tour with Fozzy. There's got to be a chance he'll turn up on television at a Raw or Smackdown at some point. Additionally, you'd also expect him to show up in the Royal Rumble. However, the dates Jericho posted on his Twitter didn't seem to indicate any television involvement. He tweeted the following photo - https://twitter.com/IAmJericho/status/554361676607541249/photo/1 Jericho started his WWE return with victory over Luke Harper on Saturday. There will be speculation that he'll do tv spots, but apparently he's wanting to only do house shows. " was my choice. I had some time off , and I thought it would be fun to go back . It's like I'm the anti-Brock Lesnar," he told Slam.Canoe.Ca recently. Fans are already wondering if there's a chance that Jericho could be used at WrestleMania 31. It's unlikely. He's scheduled to be working with Fozzy from March onwards and there are no natural spots for him on the WWE show right now. Mania doesn't really need him, and he doesn't need Mania. His appearances on house shows will be a real bonus for WWE fans in the next two months. If there's a show coming to your local area, it is a nice incentive to buy some tickets.
