Chris Jericho's Mystery AEW Dynamite Tag Partners Revealed

Who will join forces with the AEW World Champion on Dynamite tonight?

Chris Jericho Santana Ortiz The Elite
AEW

Chris Jericho's mystery AEW Dynamite tag team partners have been revealed as Santana and Ortiz, the duo formerly known as LAX.

This story broke during last night's Countdown to All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite special on TNT. Jericho had teased the unveiling on social media earlier in the day, and, to the surprise of absolute nobody, it was the former Impact Wrestling standouts.

It remains to be seen what Ortiz and Santana's AEW tag team name will be, as Impact own the "LAX" trademark. Nonetheless, they've established themselves as one of the most exciting in-ring forces in the world over the past few years and should be wonderful additions to AEW's already outstanding tag division.

Santana and Ortiz became favourites for the "mystery partners" spot after debuting at All Out, where they destroyed The Young Bucks. Now, they'll team with Jericho to face Matt and Nick Jackson and Kenny Omega.

While the reveal itself may come off like a letdown, it promises to be a fast-paced, all-action match, and it'll be particularly interesting to see LAX and the Bucks tie it up. They've only ever wrestled once before - on last year's Jericho Cruise.
