CM Punk's UFC Look Revealed In New Promotional Images

Punk's looking a bit leaner these days.

https://twitter.com/sundownmotel/status/580018280779399168 CM Punk's busy training for his UFC debut at Rousfusport in Wisconsin, a fight that will likely take place towards the end of 2015, somewhere between October and December. Apparently targeting the welterweight division at this point, Punk has been through his first sparring session, and no doubt tons of additional training. He's also been busy making the media rounds, and Punk and the UFC are doing everything they can to keep the focus on the former WWE champion. That includes a documentary currently filming, and multiple press appearances and interviews. And now, a photo shoot featuring Punk in UFC gear. The images were released over the past few days, and posted by Punk to his Instagram account. He's looking considerably leaner in them, no doubt in part due to aiming for a specific weight class, and differences in training between professional wrestling and MMA. It's worth noting that by the time Punk makes his debut, the UFC will have fully instituted its new uniform policy, which will see all fighters wearing official UFC uniforms produced by Reebok. Gone will be the sponsors you currently see UFC fighters sporting. Sponsor money from the Reebok deal will be distributed to fighters based on ranking, which means as an unranked debuting fighter, Punk will be at the bottom of the barrel, even though it's likely he'll draw far more viewers than most other fighters debuting in the promotion (likely the most since fellow pro wrestler Brock Lesnar made his debut having fought just once outside the UFC). Head on over to Punk's instagram for more shots if you're interested.
