Steve Scott, who has competed as Crazzy Steve in Impact Wrestling since 2014, announced on April 20 that he would be leaving the company.

As reported on Wrestling Observer Radio, Steve received an offer from WWE, prompting him to give his notice to Impact. It is expected that he will head to NXT, though that hasn't yet been confirmed.

Steve joined TNA in April of 2014 as part of Mike "Knux" Knox's Menagerie stable. While Steve competed for the X Division Championship on multiple occasions, he was unable to capture the belt, falling to likes of former champions Sanada and Austin Aries. In 2015, Knux left the company, forcing the stable to disband.

After a few months in singles competition, Steve joined up with Abyss and Rosemary to form Decay. Abyss and Steve defeated Beer Money on March 19, 2016, winning Impact's World Tag Team Titles in the process. They'd go on to successfully defend the belts against the likes of James Storm and Jeff Hardy, The BroMans, and - at Delete or Decay - The Broken Hardys. At Bound For Glory, though, The Hardys would capture the belts in "The Great War."
