Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley effectively called it a career in WWE on the Aug. 22 episode of Raw, but it looks like one-half of the duo is already making their return to the company.
It had been rumored that D-Von would be an agent for WWE, and it looks like that has been confirmed in a tweet by Bubba on Twitter where he told his long time friend and partner that he was going to do a great job.
This isn't the end for the legendary duo in the ring, as they will be competing at Juggalo Championship Wrestling's Fear and Loathing IX event in November. They'll also likely continue to work sporadically on the indies for years to come.
In the meantime, though, D-Von is getting his shot as an agent and Bubba has recently shown up in House of Hardcore, and teased a TNA return as well.
It's a bit of a shame that their last WWE run was so lackluster, but good to see that they're both still involved in the wrestling business and can pass on their knowledge to future generations.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
