Dana Brooke Debuts On WWE Raw
Former NXT star has her old friend Emma's back.
Monday's Raw played host to the company's most recent NXT call-up as Dana Brooke made her main roster debut. Brooke was helping her NXT ally Emma as the Australian superstar mounted a backstage assault on rival Becky Lynch.
A former bodybuilder and fitness model, Dana Brooke debuted in NXT in 2015. Brooke and Emma quickly formed an alliance, though the two fell to Charlotte and Bayley in a tag team match at NXT TakeOver: Unstoppable. The pair would soon transition into a feud with the debuting Asuka, but when Brooke took on Asuka at TakeOver: Respect, she suffered a jaw injury which kept her out of action until last month.
Even on the sidelines, Brooke kept running interference for Emma. Emma met Asuka at December's NXT TakeOver: London, but even with Brooke's help, she was unable to best "The Empress of Tomorrow."
Just prior to WrestleMania, Emma was called back up to the main roster to participate in the ten-woman pre-show match at AT&T Stadium. This left Brooke the odd woman out, with her role in NXT up in the air. Now that she's on Raw back beside Emma, the pair will undoubtedly continue causing the same kind of chaos they did in Orlando.
