Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella have officially become parents. The couple welcomed daughter Birdie Joe Danielson to the world at 11:58pm on Tuesday evening (May 9, 2017), as announced on WWE.com. Birdie weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces, and was 21 inches long.

"There is no better feeling in the world than meeting your daughter,” Brie told WWE.com. “I can't even express the overwhelming joy and love that Bryan and I are feeling. Now we know what parents mean about the love you feel when you first meet your child. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers on the safety of Birdie coming into this world."

The name Birdie Joe has significance to Bella and Bryan, as revealed in an interview with E! News earlier this week. Joe comes directly from Brie's grandfather, while Birdie is a tad simpler: both parents' names start with "B," as do much of Bryan's family, so they ran through "B" names until they came across one they liked.
