Daniel Bryan Is Suffering From Post Concussion Seizures

The frightening extent of Bryan's condition.

Daniel Bryan has admitted he is suffering from post concussion seizures, telling Jonathan Coachman on ESPN that he had kept them hidden for a long time. The recent tests revealed swelling and a lesion on the part of the brain that causes these seizures, and that's why Bryan is now a former WWE wrestler. He told Coachman that there has been ten concussions, but there's no way to documenting every single incident in his sixteen year career. Particularly on the independent scene, there isn't really a culture of excellent health care. It is definitely scary to hear that Bryan has swelling and a lesion on his brain. It is also concerning to hear that he'd been suffering seizures, yet he was still wanting to return to the wrestling business. How can a guy as smart as Bryan think it wise to hide the seizures? His passion for returning to wrestling was definitely clouding his judgement, and WWE should be commended for forcing him to accept his condition. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ld71r-Pi3OA Bryan's case will perhaps now serve as a lesson to other wrestlers in the industry. A little like Kurt Angle, there's no point at going 100% all the time, when it just ends up in a burn out during a wrestlers prime. Bryan has unfortunately paid the price for an in-ring style that was thrilling but dangerous.
