Daniel Bryan Returns For WWE RAW Tonight

Fans have been clamoring for a Daniel Bryan return, and it looks like that is what is in-store for tonight's edition of WWE RAW. Bryan was spotted at the Phoenix airport headed to Seattle, the site of tonight's edition of RAW. This is not just a coincidence, as according to a report from PWInsider, Bryan is in fact booked to appear at RAW. He is not currently expected to take part in the SmackDown tapings on Tuesday night, however, though plans could certainly change. The appearance in Washington is not surprising, as it is Bryan's home state. WhatCulture has reported several times in the past that Bryan has been cleared by more than one independent doctor for a return to the ring. However, WWE's own medical staff has not cleared Bryan, and he will not be allowed to return to in-ring competition until that happens. Charlotte has Ric Flair at her side, so it would make sense for Brie to bring in Bryan to be in her corner. If this is the case, though, it is undoubtedly going to be a disappointment to Bryan's fans that his long-awaited return is part of a Brie Bella storyline. Bryan has made it apparent in several interviews over the last couple of months that he only wants to return to WWE if it is as a wrestler. WWE reportedly has offered him other roles, which he has turned down. Vince McMahon has apparently shown interest in wanting Bryan to be part of the build to WrestleMania, in order to help with fan interest in the show, but Bryan has continued to maintain that he's not interested unless he is to be cleared by WWE for a return to active competition.
