"Deranged Fan" Shot Outside WWE Performance Center

29-year-old man obsessed with WWE Diva is gunned down in Orlando.

A 29-year-old man who was reportedly "fixated on a female wrestler" has been shot by a police deputy outside the WWE Performance Centre in Azalea Park, Orlando today. The incident occurred at approximately 1:45pmET and the individual was rushed to hospital. Soon after the chaotic incident, Triple H issued a three tweet message explaining that it was a "deranged individual" behind the shooting;
Unfortunately a deranged individual with no WWE affiliation, who had a court order prohibiting him from being on WWE property was involved in an incident with an Orange County Sherriff€™s deputy in the parking lot of the WWE Performance Center. We defer to the Orange County Sherriff€™s department for further comment and information.
Orange County Sheriffs held a press conference today and revealed the following details;
Police responded to a trespassing call at 1:30PM EST and were told the man had a knife. They issued repeat warnings to him but he charged at them and one of the officers felt his life was in danger so he fired on the man, hitting him in the torso. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Corporal Steve Wall and Deputy Dave Richardson were the first two officers to arrive and Wall fired the shot. The man who was shot was obsessed with one of the female WWE talents and had been banned from the property after being arrested there a few weeks ago. Police have encountered him possibly three times in the past month. They did not say he was a wrestler and apparently was not connected to anyone who worked at the Performance Center. They would not release the man's identity as they are waiting to notify family and others. His condition was critical to stable but he was still in surgery. The man has an arrest record with previous charges for violence, robbery and battery on an officer.
Shannon Butler, who is a reporter with WFTV in Orlando, noted on Twitter that a witness had said:
"This guy was crazy. He was here a few days ago and arrested. I guess he came back!"

The identity of the female performer the "deranged individual" was obsessing over has not been revealed.
