Both Braun Strowman and AJ Styles recently signed new deals with WWE, with both performers said to have received sizable boosts to their basic salary.

According to Dave Meltzer, writing in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, The Monster Amongst Men has earned a similarly monstrous new pay packet, said to be worth around $1.2 million per year.

Styles' new deal is understood to be valued significantly higher. Generally speaking, WWE only offers its talent downside offers up to a million dollars, suggesting the magnitude of their latest salaries are designed with the express purpose of dissuading any temptation from AEW.

AJ's stablemates Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson each signed contracts said to be worth around $700,000 earlier this year, having turned down overtures from AEW in the region of half a million each. Former WWE champion Jinder Mahal was likewise tied down to a brand new multi-year deal back in June, as the company looked to lock in their talent ahead of the impending 'wrestling war'.

Though it came before his new deal, The Phenomenal One ended 2018 with an estimated $3.5 million in the bank, with merchandising and bonuses helping make up the relative deficit on his projected 2019 earnings.
