Did Brock Lesnar Cash Money In The Bank In At WWE Super ShowDown?

Beast had threatened to walk away from Jeddah with Universal Championship.

In a word: no. At today's Super ShowDown, Brock Lesnar, proving almost as effective as Damien Sandow with the briefcase under his arm, once again failed to cash in his contract on Universal Champion Seth Rollins - though as you might imagine, walked away with his chance still intact.

The Architect had just overcame the challenge of a hapless Baron Corbin in his Saudi Arabian title defence, catching the former Constable in a roll-up as the pretender argued with the ref. Furious about his manner of defeat, sore loser Corbin laid Rollins out with an End of Days, before storming out of the arena.

Obviously, this was the cue for Lesnar to march down the aisle and attempt to cash his Money in the Bank opportunity in - much as he promised on this week's Raw. Except, before The Beast had the chance to call for the bell, the downed Rollins caught him with a low blow, echoing the move that led him to WrestleMania victory.

The champ then wailed on his interloper with a steel chair, leaving Lesnar a pathetic, crumbled heap on the canvas. The Universal Title holder lives to fight another day, then, and Brock will presumably resume his increasingly tedious tease first thing on Monday.
