Eden Stiles Departs WWE

Announcer follows her husband Cody Rhodes out of the company.

Following the news of Cody Rhodes' seemingly acrimonious departure from WWE over the weekend, it now seems his wife Brandi Runnels is about to join her husband in leaving the promotion.

32-year old Brandi, better known as SmackDown!'s lead ring announcer Eden Stiles, confirmed over the past day on Twitter that she had been offered a new position outside the world of wrestling.

The news doesn't come as much of a surprise; in addition to Runnels teasing her exit for several weeks, her egress from the company has almost certainly been expedited by Cody's bitter separation.

Runnels promised further information on her next venture in the coming weeks, though like her husband, it's likely we've seen the last of her in a wrestling ring.

There's an exodus of Biblical proportions in the company at the moment. In the past week, we've seen both Adam (Rose) and Eden leave WWE: maybe, just maybe, Eva (Marie) will be next? We can only hope. Sadly, God just isn't that kind.
