Ember Moon Out For "Decent Length Of Time" With WWE Injury?

Here's why you haven't seen Ember Moon on WWE TV for a while...

It sounds like Ember Moon could be set for a significant spell on WWE's sidelines as a result of an injury.

This is according to Dave Meltzer in this week's edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He writes that 'The War Goddess' is expected to miss "a decent length of time" with either an ankle or Achilles problem, though the precise nature of her injury hasn't been disclosed.

Meltzer notes that an Achillies issue would be particularly problematic as it could potentially sideline Moon for up to a year. An ankle problem wouldn't be anywhere near as bad, however, so let's hope that's what it is.

Moon hasn't wrestled since the 23 September episode of Raw, on which she lost to Lacey Evans in a shade over five minutes. She has endured a weak 2019 that began with a post-Royal Rumble injury, then looked set to peak in a SmackDown Women's Championship programme with Bayley, though their rivalry never took off and yielded a mediocre SummerSlam 2019 bout.

Other recent additions to WWE's injury reserve include Bray Wyatt (unknown problem), Samoa Joe (broken thumb), and Sasha Banks (back and hip injuries).
