In the wake of Eva Marie's suspension for her first violation of WWE's wellness policy, her husband has taken to social media to voice his opinion on the matter, and he's not pleased.

Within hours of the announcement of his wife's suspension, Jonathan Coyle - who also acts as the SmackDown star's manager - posted the following on his Twitter account:

Usually the best course of action (if one plans to remain employed with WWE) when these things occur is to make a brief statement of contrition then keep quiet and wait the suspension out, similar to the way Roman Reigns conducted himself following his own violation. As we've seen recently with the Adam Rose saga, trying to defend yourself often ends up digging a bigger hole and potentially costing a talent their job.

There is a very slim possibility that this is a legitimate suspension that WWE is going to use to their advantage and work it into her character, which is a fine line to walk should they choose that route. If that's what's going on it's feasible Coyle's comments could be a work, but that scenario is highly unlikely (and the theory has been dismissed by wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer).

We'll keep you updated on the "unjust" reason behind her suspension as soon the promised statement is released.

In regards to the six-woman tag team match taking place at this Sunday's SummerSlam, WWE.com acknowledged that Eva would not be at the show and confirmed the match would still take place, but left it open-ended as to whether Natalya and Alexa Bliss would find a replacement partner or face their opponents in a handicap bout.
