Evan Bourne's Suspension Leaves WWE Tag Team Division Open

WWE are coming up with potential new teams right now to take Air Boom's slot.

Evan Bourne's second WWE suspension (this time for sixty days) for failing the Wellness Policy has left a spot open for a new babyface tag team that can challenge holders Primo & Epico for the WWE Tag Team Championship in the coming weeks. WWE are coming up with potential new teams right now and have already used The Usos vs. Primo & Epico on this week's edition of WWE SmackDown and they are just about the only two teams going right now. On this week's 100th episode of NXT, Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins (heel team) debuted new ring attire to take on the team of Trent Barretta and Yoshi Tatsu. Presumably the latter are in contention to be a new team on Raw & SmackDown. Lookout for former WWE Tag Team Champions The Headbangers to post yet another video to the web begging for the opportunity to show what they can still do for Vince McMahon. Meanwhile, Wrestling Obsever Newsletter reports that Evan Bourne is not expected now to be a major part of WrestleMania 28. Likely the best he can hope for is a slot as a dark match but his second suspension has cost him big time, missing out on the two big paydays of the year - Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. Bourne's suspension would run out in time for the March 19th Raw SuperShow before April 1st WrestleMania but it's doubtful he would come back straight into a program.
