9. Raw And SmackDown's Entrants
Entrants From Raw: Brock Lesnar; Finn Bálor; Roman Reigns; Seth Rollins; Dean Ambrose; Samoa Joe; Bray Wyatt; Braun Strowman; The Miz; Cesaro.
Raw's entrants are headlined by The Beast Incarnate, Raw's Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar. More on his role later. Amongst the rest are six former World Champions, and others like Strowman and Joe have garnered enough momentum in recent months to solidify their place in the field. The least likely inclusion is Cesaro. While he is a tag team competitor, the G1 provides a platform for singles performances from those who wouldn't normally get them. That said, Cesaro would be there to put on great matches, not win them.
Entrants From SmackDown: John Cena; AJ Styles; Randy Orton; Jinder Mahal; Shinsuke Nakamura; Kevin Owens; Baron Corbin; Sami Zayn; Rusev; Dolph Ziggler.
SmackDown's ring generals enter the fray in the form of Cena, Styles and Orton, with a host of upper-midcard talent to join them. In actual fact, the most surprising entrant would be Jinder Mahal. While he is WWE Champion, he sticks out like a sore thumb when listed in the top ten male competitors that SmackDown has to offer. There will also be more to say on the Jinder later.
