Former NXT Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush will be announcing 'The Final Match' on Monday, July 20, according to one of his latest Instagram posts.

Rush was one of the many stars released from WWE on April 15 in response to the current global situation. Since leaving he has routinely teased he will be hanging up his wrestling boots for good to focus on his music career.

Now, the 'Man of the Hour' has confirmed in an Instagram post that he will be revealing 'The Final Match' on July 20:

'It’s been an amazing ride. 7.20.20 I will be announcing #TheFinalMatch. #Lio #LioRush #Wrestling'

Rush then asked his followers in another Instagram post who they would prefer to see him battle in his last ever professional wrestling encounter. The post read, 'If you could pick ONE person for me to have a “Final Match” with, who would it be?'

At 25 years-old, Rush still has the potential to forge a hell of career in the world of professional wrestling. Yet, it seems the talented performer has his eyes on other projects at this moment in time and isn't too interested in the business of bumping.

Do you genuinely think this could be Rush's last bout? Or is he simply trying to work us all into believing he's done before making a triumphant return later down the line?
