Finn Balor has turned up at TNA Impact Wrestling offices and fired a DX crotch chop ahead of tonight's NXT Nashville show. "Shots Fired #NXTNashville" he stated on his Instagram. This is a bold move from the current NXT Champion. The policy in WWE is to not even acknowledge the existence of TNA. It is possible he'll get in some trouble for it, and it is also possible that TNA talent will be genuinely annoyed. There could be heat from all sides over Balor's joke. It is a great picture, though. It is a little reminiscent of when Triple H went down to WCW and attempted to invade the brand with DX. Balor is kitted out in his WWE shirt, just to hammer the point home that he is working for the number one brand in professional wrestling. Could TNA Impact Wrestling now retaliate and turn up at the NXT show? Probably not. Kicking off a brand war would undoubtedly raise TNA's profile, but they would be unlikely to risk the legal problems posed by turning up at a WWE show. TNA is based out of Nashville and has a long history in the area, but at this point are struggling to survive. The WWE NXT show is hardly stepping into enemy territory this evening.
