WWE's next pay-per-view, Money in the Bank 2018, doesn't take place until 17 June, but the card is already coming together, with last night's Raw hosting three separate qualifying matches.

Braun Strowman became the first official participant in the men's ladder match. He defeated Kevin Owens at the top of the show, which wasn't advertised ahead of time, but was booked through an in-ring segment with General Manager Kurt Angle.

In the main event, Finn Bálor defeated Sami Zayn and Roman Reigns to join 'The Monster Among Men,' pinning Zayn following the Coup de Grâce. The assist came from Jinder Mahal, whose ringside appearance distracted Reigns when he appeared to be on the verge of victory.

On the women's side, Ember Moon pinned Ruby Riott in a fantastic Triple Threat match that also featured Sasha Banks. As one of Raw's most popular stars, 'The Boss' is a particularly surprising exclusion, but Moon's elite athleticism makes her an exciting participant.

There was no indication of who Brock Lesnar's next Universal Title challenger will be. Money in the Bank is thought to be his next defence, but with Strowman and Reigns seemingly occupied, he is without an obvious opponent.
