Former WWE Star Jerry Lynn Seeking Help To Pay For Major Surgeries

One-time ECW Heavyweight Champion needs your help.

Jerry Lynn, a performer mostly known for his classic matches in the original ECW against the likes of Lance Storm and Rob Van Dam, called it a career on March 23rd, 2013 - exactly twenty five years after he had his first match. The 'New F'N Show' had a good, long career, which included spells in WCW, Japan, Ring of Honor, TNA and WWE. However, a quarter century of bumping has taken its toll on him and he now requires major surgeries to his neck and back. On Thursday August 6, Lynn will hve three degenerative discs in his neck replaced, his vertebrae fused and bone spurs removed, as well. The pain is something he can no longer deal with and, although he has medical insurance, he needs help covering the $5,000 deductible as well as the three months that he will need to take off from work in order to rehab properly. The gofundme.com project is looking to raise $15,000 with any extra money raised going to the charitable organisation Nashville Rescue Mission, which offers food, clothing and shelter to those in need. Jerry Lynn was, according to multple sources, one of the nicest men in the business, a man who gave himself selflessly and didn't ask for much in return. He once said that if he didn't have bad luck, he wouldn't have any at all, after suffering serious injuries multiple times just when it looked like his career was going to get going. If you would like to contribute to Jerry Lynn's fund, you can do so by visiting here. Get well soon, Jerry.
