Madison Square Garden's website has revealed the card for the October 3rd WWE Network Special in New York City. The card is currently titled 'WWE Live From Madison Square Garden Featuring Brock Lesnar' and the main event is listed as Seth Rollins versus John Cena. Interestingly, Cena is listed as US champion and Rollins is listed as WWE Champion. Only the WWE Title is listed as being on the line. Could it be an indication of the title picture around October? Probably not. The disclaimer "card is subject to change" is highlighted at the bottom of the card. These matches were drawn up before SummerSlam and reflect the WWE status in mid-August. Brock Lesnar and Chris Jericho are both listed on the card, but with the asterisk that no opponent is yet announced. Could they be facing each other? That would certainly be a lot of fun, but it would make more sense to put Lesnar against the returning Kane. There's a built in story there, after Lesnar storyline injured Kane and just wrestled Undertaker. Chances are, it will be just like The Beast In The East, a short match against a not so meaningful opponent. It goes to show the star power of Lesnar that they can just build entire specials around him in this fashion.
