WWE are stacking the deck for next week's SmackDown debut on FOX TV, with Brock Lesnar set to challenge for Kofi Kingston's WWE Championship and all kinds of 20th Anniversary shenanigans set to go down, and now, it looks like they might be calling on a certain former Universal and WCW Champion.

Per PW Insider, Goldberg could be set to appear on the 4 October show.

If it happens, it'll be the first time Big Bad Bill has appeared for WWE since hilariously squashing Dolph Ziggler at SummerSlam 2019, then compounding his opponent's misery with a couple of extra Jackhammers.

Speaking of 'The Show-Off,' him and Goldberg got into it in a worked pull-apart confrontation in Las Vegas last week:-

It was reported earlier this year that WWE intends to keep using Goldberg as a John Wayne-esque bad*ss old man who only shows up when somebody needs to take a beating. As such, it's safe to assume he'll be putting someone in the dirt on 4 October, though the possibility of confrontations with old rivals Lesnar and The Undertaker is a possibility as well.
